Frequently asked questions
Is ManageTransfer free?
Yes. With the Free plan you can send up to 3.9 GB per transfer, with links valid for up to 14 days, without creating an account. If you need to send bigger files, the Pro and Business plans go up to 78.1 GB.
How does password protection work?
When you send files you choose a download password: the recipient must enter it to see and download the files. Passwords are stored only in encrypted form and not even we can read them.
How long do files stay available?
You choose the duration when you send them. When it expires the files are automatically deleted from the server, and you can delete them earlier at any time from the management page.
Does the recipient need to sign up?
No. The recipient only needs the link and the password: they can download files one by one or all together as a ZIP archive.
What kind of files can I send?
Any format: PDF and Office documents, photos, videos, audio, ZIP archives and more, within your plan's size limit.
